<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\nTo level the floor I used a laser receiver attached to a level. I found the highest spot and made that my 0 mark. From there I used drilled and installed screws adjust their height to 0 (level). Then I poured and skred the leveler to barely touch the top of the screw. 10-bags of leveler later and the floor was reasonably “FLAT” and “LEVEL”. I was off by 1\/4in in the closet, but I made up the difference using thinset when laying the tiles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I leveled the closet first because it called for the most self-leveler. It was also a good way for me to see how it worked and how many bags I would need for the rest of the job. The closet required 5×50-lbs bags of self-leveler. Note, I’ll have a more in-depth story about my mom’s space, but that pink and white stuff is primer. There was not one video, manufacturers instructions that did not call for primer. Every single brand, and every one of the 15 YT videos I watched said to use primer. A quart which was $10 covers 100 sq ft. When the hack attempted to level my mother’s living space he never used primer. There is just so much to unpack about Vinny’s poor quality of work. He’s allergic to reading manufacturers directions.
